Cyborg Lenses, boon or bane?

Google filed a patent for their newest technology, from the name itself, Cyborg lenses are directly placed on the eyes of the user. The eyes can function as telescope, microscope, camera, and video recording. Movement from your eyeball can empower the lenses. Furthermore, Google also emphasize the benefits of these lenses on the health of the user. The lenses can cure common eye problems such as myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. As for the full details of the insertion which was approved by the U.S Patent and Trademark Office, Google says it requires the removal of the lens in your eyes and replaces it with fluids containing electronic lens thru injection. On the other hand, this new technology alarms the privacy of an individual. It would be easier to access the personal information such as pin number and contact information since everything you see will be recorded and will be transmitted. However, Google ensure that personal information will stay secure by making the mechanical lenses strip out personally by identifying information.Want to know more about this awesome device?
