Road to Quantum Computers
A faster and more complex calculations are now even more possible nowadays. Although they are very fragile, researchers from the Niels Bohr Institute showed that it is achievable to have a “sturdy” quantum state. This state leaves quantum information intact. Majorana zero mode state is transmit across a nanowire and the quantum information is stored beyond separate locations, so measuring it doesn’t affect the whole state. The Information can be stored in either single 0s or 1s, but also in superposition states or the combination of 0s and 1s. This property leads to the increased computational power.
